Welcome to the Bishop Marmion Resource Center website! Our collection--books, videotapes, audiotapes, CDs, kits, curriculum resources--is here to be used. Any parish or parishioner in the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia is offered full access to the BMRC and its resources. Resources may be signed out or renewed in person or online. We're happy to mail materials to you when that is helpful, and they may be returned the same way.

Use the search box to look for resources by keyword, author, or title. When you find materials you'd like to borrow, you'll be asked to complete a one-time registration process. This information will not be available to others using the website to find resources. Be sure to choose a user name and password you'll find easy to remember.

Most materials are checked out for a two-week period. The borrowing period can often be extended by renewing, and some materials may be checked out for a much longer length of time by request. You'll receive an email reminder when items are almost due and another reminder if materials are overdue (or if another borrower has requested the same item). There are no overdue fines. A basket for returned items is just inside the door at the BMRC at Evans House, or materials may be returned by mail (BMRC, PO Box 2279, Roanoke, VA 24009).

The Bishop Marmion Resource Center (BMRC) is open during regular Evans House office hours, generally Monday through Friday, 9-5. Please feel free to browse online or drop in, have a cup of coffee, and browse in person. We're here to serve, in the BMRC and throughout Evans House.
